I’ve keep this story open as a tab for two weeks now, trying to figure out how to talk about it. But, yes, Chicago was made great because it is a great cultivator of Black culture and achievement. Over 230,000 African-Americans have left Chicago in the last 15 years. Chicago is losing its essence.
