Schlitterbahn Water Parks are only in the deep South, and I’ve wanted to go one so bad for so long. And then there was a too-incredible-to-believe 17 story slide built at a Schlitterbahn in Kansas – that ended up decapitating a ten-year old rider. The Atlantic released a documentary looking into what happened, and it turns out water parks in Kansas do not require inspections by a state agency. And neither designers had no background in mechanical engineering.
